welp guys, some of you may remember how i was ordering live rock from an online website a few days ago- and it just came in today, MAN am i happy!! i just put them in a salinity dip in a 5 gallon bucket, shook the crap out of them for a while, and then placed them in the tank- i have it all set...

and everything worked out okay? that's great to hear- i don't want to have to go thru the painful process of REcuring live rock for like 3 weeks... i just want to use a salinity dip and scrub the ---- out of it- i'm glad to hear that this worked out for you!! i'm really excited that everythings...

please help me ID this- they showed up first a few weeks ago in like 4 or 5 of them, but now there all over my rock, and i dont know what they are... are they aptasia?

how about pre cured rock from the sight? on top of the acclimation thing, its cheap as hell... but does anyone know if the size of the rock remains consistant? or am i going to get a 20lb piece of rock thats a big boulder and can't do anything with, and then some small pieces that i still can't...

hey all, i have a question regarding live rock orders from websites.. seeing as they offer the live rock for like $3/lb as opposed to 6-7 at the LFS i have a tank with nothing but live rock in it... the oldest pieces have been sitting there for a few weeks now, and i just put in 2 new additions...

its a 150 gallon tank, or something close to it, i really do think that the wrasse that i got looks better than a lunare, wouldn't u think? it's funny tho because i went to take a snapshot of the eel and all of a sudden the wrasse decided to stay still enough for a camera to capture him, usually...

that wrasse is cool lookin, huh? we were going to get a lunare wrasse but they didn't have any, and i heard that they dog on everything in the tank, but i think that this wrasse is definately the better choice, i like how he has a pattern all down his body, not just the face
