bump. Any takers on the flame hawk shrimp question?

Shrimp are easy to get, but what aer silversides? Can I just get them fresh fish from the deli? Like salmon, mackrel, orange roughy, etc and just give them small pieces? I buy them (anenome) becuase they are pretty and I want the clown fish to live in them. -David

Is it true that an australian flame hawk will eat them? (the bright red fat fish). I had a long nose hawk that ate my shrimp once, but will the flame eat them? -David

No buterfly fish. There is a tang (who likes to eat the green plants) and a hawk fish. The anenome right now is on a rock opposite a powerhead on a wavemaker strip. There are no (or very few) places in the tank that do not have some water movement via the power heads and return from sump. -David

I have had bubble, carpet, and sebae anenomes, they all die after less then three months. Everything else in the tank does fine. So the shrimp that is good for them to eat is the same shrimp I can get in the seafood section of the store? Raw shrimp right?

I bought another anenome, they never seem to last more then 2 months in my tank. The tank is 125 gallons and the salinity 1.023. I have metal halide lights. Why do they die? What should I be feeding them? -David

Wanted to know if the shrimp were compatible and how many can/should a tank have? 125 tank with fish, live rock, an anenome and 2 leather corals. Please dont use and funny abreviations :P -David
