Ok,heres an update *ill add a pic later*,the rock and sand have been in my tank a week and 2 days now, and i just started running the filter on Saturday,along with a good powerhead. My nitrates and nitrites still appear to be really high, but im not sure how much of a water change to do seeing...

Hi all! I apologize for my constant need for advice,but i still do have a query ^_^* lol Ive been letting my rock sit in my tank for about 5 days now with just a heater. The guy i got it from told me this is what i shoudl do,but the waters looking pretty nasty and i really think i should run...

well im the dummy of the century..while moving around the rock in my tank i placed my ring on the canopy lid...and then forgetting it was there,went to close it and the ring fell in,its somehow gotten itself under a rock,and as i tried getting it the sand moved around and clouded my path of...

My retrofit kit has finally arrived!!! Im gonna attach it to the canopy tonight,but upon resting the reflector inside of it,the kit is going to cover the "vents" that open to the top of the canopy...the back is completely open so its this ok? thanks to anyone with advice,im cleaning and putting...
