Tang and Flame are getting along much better since I gave Tang seaweed to entertain him all day. My LFS has a 58gal reef just like mine with 2 tangs, clowns, etc I'm very new to hobby but if I loose the tang I'll not replace it and very much enjoy the personality of the flame I swear it's like...

I have a Flame that was turning white because it was stressed out by the new Yellow Tang I put in the tank. I put a clip with seaweed in the tank for the Tang to feed on and used a Marine-Max product that helps with stress for new fish and my Flames color has come back

I put a yellow tang into my FOWLR 58 gal with 20 gal sump tank and it is picking on my Flame hawkfish. I also have 2 Pecular clowns and 2 black clowns and 1 Diamond gobie but the tang does not bother them. I'm affraid for the flame any ideas on what to do? :help:

They are at this point. I ran to another local LFS, not the one I purchased it from, and they sold me some Bio-Spira. I place it in the tank and the next day my ammonia went from .25 to Zero.

Not yet, but I did have them test my water at the LFS before purchasing the new fish. That was my next purchase. Just didn't think I would need it so soon.

No...boy this doesn't mean what I think it means...I might loose the fish?? When I talked to the LFS folks they said it shouldn't be a problem because of the heartyness of the fish I bought and the bacteria that is already in the live rock.

Does cycled mean running the water for a day?? I did do that. Here's hoping cycled doesn't mean something else.
