Just getting started and I am about ready to put together all my plumbing. My concern is, is it OK to use Plumbers glue to attach all the PVC parts from the sump to the overflow? Not sure if that will cause problems to the fish later on. What glue do I use?
I have a 65g 36L X 18W x 24H. Is this too much lighting... 1x250 watt 10,000K MH lamp, 2x65 watt True Actinic 03 Blue PC lamps, 2x1 watt Lunar Blue-Moon-Glow LED lamps. Not sure if I should go with the 1x150.
Thanks. Not going to start out with corals. Mainly fish and inverts. The Power head would be 250gph each. 2 100 watt ebo -jager heaters. I read some where that I can put in the sump if the heaters are submersible, true?
Defenitely will have LR and after reading more on the message boards...
Currently purchased a 65g overflow tank. Didn't want to go to large to start out with.
Is this accurate to start out with for the main components?
1) Wet/Dry w/prefilter. Is this also considered a sump where I can put the protein skimmer?
2) RO
3) Protein Skimmer (Coral life super skimmer)...
