my seaclone protein skimmer is totally brown redish algae inside of it . i can not even see the bubbles inside or the swirl.. is this ok? its been on for 3 months. my levels are fine.. i close the air valve a few tiems per week and loose algae shooots out that my tangs and angels love to eat so...

im getting a flame angel this week. ive read they like mixed diet with algae as part ofit. i cant get any algae to grow in my tank. the 10 snails i have in my tank eat it all plus the crabs starfish .. any suggestoins for growing some for him to nibble on? thanks

HEY LORD U GOT filter on your sand bed 29 gallon? how does your small blue tang do in that tiny tank. i thought they had to be in 80 gallon plus? i use 4inch of dsb for added filtration.. ok kewl looked nice

do not get a HORSHOE.. THEY DID IN YOUR SAND AND UPSET THE DSB FACT! also big hermits make a mess of your tank ive had them . they dig an dpic at your live rock all day n night.. also and most important. you have not POWERHEADS!!!!!! you need the water to circulate to avoid dead spots. get two...

go with no well water . i have well water had same problem for 2 months..also imo too many fish in there for a new tank,....CC will trap garbage down there which will pump out nitrates. will be 3 months b4 dsb starts to kick in full gear.. my took about that..take that CC out...
