Hey guys, I am having a little problem with one of these skimmers. I am helping out my step-dad with getting his skimmer working for his nano and it has been running for well-over two months with no collection. He had a Maxijet 900 on it (230 GPH) and I thought that perhaps it was not enough...

If you go with T5 get a four lamp fixture (4 x 24 watt) or if you decide to go with PCs get a two lamp fixture (2 x 65 watt). I think the second one you listed would be sweet; you would be able to keep anything you wanted in a 20 long with that T5 fixture.
