Moon lights not working in JBJ

It isn't too complicated. If you take the hood off and play around you will figure out how to fix it quick.

    Dear Diary...

Adair, I just ran into Trainfever at Pets Plus in Northeast Philly. He is a good guy if you want to go get some caulerpa or chaeto from him for your refugium.

Uh... That isn't good Adair. Did this happen overnight? You might have one of those coral-eating fire worms.

Aqua C Remora Pro Protein Skimmer

Hey guys, I am having a little problem with one of these skimmers. I am helping out my step-dad with getting his skimmer working for his nano and it has been running for well-over two months with no collection. He had a Maxijet 900 on it (230 GPH) and I thought that perhaps it was not enough...

If you go with T5 get a four lamp fixture (4 x 24 watt) or if you decide to go with PCs get a two lamp fixture (2 x 65 watt). I think the second one you listed would be sweet; you would be able to keep anything you wanted in a 20 long with that T5 fixture.

Use of Tap Water/Anyone using it?

The problems associated with using tap water are not worth the convenience. You can get away with using tap water in remote, mountainous locations if the total dissolved solids concentration is relatively low, but for the most part, tap water is a disaster waiting to happen and you don't really...

80 watts of what? That is a weird number. Don't do SPS until you've been reefing for at least a year. Water quality is so important and you need experience maintaining it on top of the knowledge: both of which take some time.

    When to change DI

It really depends on the quality of the water you are using. Here in Philadelphia where the tap water is horrid a DI cartridge might last six months if you're lucky, but in a more rural or mountainous area the tap water quality can be quite good and a DI cartridge may last two years. The...
