    PJ Cardinals not eating...

My guy eats anything and everything as long as it floats slowing down the tank. He won't eat off the bottom. Try Garlic. SOak some stuff and then see if he takes it.

    Best way to battle cyanobacteria?

You say a running battle but is this a new problem or has it been there since day one? If it came up months or years after you had the tank try going back to see what changed. Something had to affect the tank - lights, circulation, something.

    STOCKING FISH 55g

How long has the tank been up and do you have a solid cleaning crew? I'd stay with what you have for now. The more you add the more maintenance you have to do. What you have there now will grow. Not knowing what you have for water (Sump, how much live rock) its hard to say you can take on more...

    OMG - my 180 broke tonight :-(

Good news is you had hardwood. I lost about 30 gal in the carpet and it also Leaked into the finished basement rec room. Smelt like low tide at the beach for a few weeks. Stanley Steamer loved me coming back every few days! I did have to tear down the sheet rock in the basement, though.

    Six Line Wrasse and shrimp/hermits

I tried to check all the posts but I could not find a clear answer. Would a six line wrasse harm or eat a large cleaner shrimp, pepermint shrimp, or my cleaner crew of small hermits and snails?

    Time for a Tang?

I got the tang on the small size from LFS. He is doing well in QT but has not eaten off the clip. He does eat some flake I give to a clown in that tank and eats the small sinking algae pellets I offered. When the Algae in the clip deteriorate and floats around I do see him nibble once or twice...

    fish list

I don't know if all HawkFish are alike but in general a Hawkfish can eat your cleaning crew if you have one and may gobble up the gobbie. I have a cleaner shrimp so I elected to not get a hawkfish.

    Time for a Tang?

I have a 55gal I use for a QT tank (1 blue damsel and 1 Oc. clown) and a 72 gal BF display tank. Both tanks have been up and very stable for a year. I always wanted a Yellow Tang but I held off because my tank was not yet established and I am very fearful of Ich. Is it time for a tang? If I...

    WOW! What a HUGE skimmer!

I know what you mean. I have the small model 65gal I bought for my 55gal. Even then it looked huge. But it worked so well I forgave it. When I bought my 72gal tank I went with the Aqua C Remora as someone on this board raved about it and it is much lower profile. I didn't work nearly as good as...

How hard is it to keep your tank clean?

It is not hard but does require frequent cleaning. If you miss you schedule you will have more to do! Sunlight is also "bad" as it does cause more stuff to grow.
