    Bristle Worms

How many bristleworms are too many? I have seen 15 or more in the day. This is in a 10 gallon tank with 15 lbs of live rock. I have only seen them within the rock. If this is to many, how do I catch them?

    Water Testing

I have started a 10 gallon tank that I am going to turn into a reef tank. I test the water for the four basics and all is good. When do I start testing for Alkalinity, Calcium and anything else I should test for? My LFS says I don't need to worry about it right now.

I want to stay away from CF. They cost much more than T5HO bulbs.

    Too Much Light???????

Is there such a thing as too much light. I am looking to get a new light for a new 10 gallon reef tank. I was looking at a 24" 4 tube T5HO light fixture that has a total of 96 watts. Is this too much light for a 10 gallon tank? Here is a link to the light fixture I was looking at...

    Lighting for a 10 gallon?

I have been told that a MH light will be too hot for a 10 gallon tank. I am going for the T5HO. AquticLife has a 24" 4 bulb with a timmer and 2 LED lights for night. It is just over $200. I think this is the one I am going to get for my new 10 gallon reef tank...

I just used Aiptasia-X on one and it seems to have worked great. I will see in a couple of days if it really worked or not.

Put it in a bucket of water and take it back to your LFS and ask them what they sold you.

    Refractometer ?

I have been told that you do not really need one unless you are planning on having a reef tank with lots of difficult corals in it.

    Where's my new Fish?

My tank just went through the cycling period and I went to the LFS for my first fish. I put him in there and he went under some rocks and I have not seen him. Is this normal for fish to hide for a couple days? My African's have never done anything like this.
