I think too much water was being pulled through the vents under the surface and not enough skimming off the top.

My Aquapod 24 came with the vents already blocked too.

Aquapod 24. Just getting started. Looks kind of sorry :thinking: I've done so much reading I'm confused lol. I cant wait, but I will. Right now only 2 rocks to stare at. I will have many ?????? in the near future.

Just set up an Aqua Pod 24. The water seems to be moving well. Eventually will be FOWLR. Maybe some Polyps. Should I throw in a power head also?

Can I use sand I collect from the ocean to seed non live sand? Sand would be from VA beach area.
