Thanks everyone for your input! I am leaning away from the lion and thinking more of corals and maybe 4 inchs of LS and going a goby with alot of coral and shrimp

I was thinking of making a brine shrimp hatchery to feed my lionfish but i had an idea that i am not sure if it can work.. I wanted to add a timer to the feeder and some how (using an actuator) (spelling) lift the nob on a commerial "hang on" hatchery automatically... has anyone ever thought...

thanks man! i went on some other site and they said I needed a filter that rolled 200 (10 per gallon) per hour but i see ur using a 300... if i did a fish only w.lr do u think i would still need a skimmer if i put a 300 roll over and 2 power heads?
