so i returned the aggressive blue one, and got a four striped damsel - in white and black, for a free exchange. the brown one then started to chase everyone around. these fish are tough. i accidentally left one in a bucket for three days, another was left in the overflow after being siphoned...

i got it a while back, when i put it in the tank, it disappeared into the sand, and every so often would resurface... this picture is the snail riding on one of my hermit crabs. of course, i haven't seen it in about a 3 weeks but...

is eating inverts good? don't i need inverts? does the starfish help clean the detritus? will my sand look cleaner? should i just return the starfish? i plan on getting my lighting and corals soon.... have snails and hermit crabs, etc, no real algae probs...

I've had this starfish for over a month i have a 60g with 50lb of live sand and 70lb of lr. i just read that the starfish will kill the live sand.... true?

so you figure about $700 for a decent mh vho setup in a nice package with a fan and moon lights are a good price?

am looking into getting a light system for my 60 gallon tank... with corals and clams, etc in the future. figure i don't want to keep adding new lights later and want to start with the correct set up. i think these prices are pretty good considering all the bells and whistles, no? comments...

have a 60 gallon tank with about 60lb os live rock, bunch of snails, crabs, a a few damsels. have a cpr skimmer and two powerheads... i am thinking about getting this light set up so that i can get some corals froma friend.... the cost is about $560. OPINIONS PLEASE! Hamilton 175 Watt...

thanks for the ID!!!! i still think my hermit crab has been victimized. lost another limb last night, and today, his lifeless carcass is pulled out of his shell, with the smaller crabs pecking into it. sigh....
