theirs going to be some die off on it so your going to have to go through a curing process, before you place it into your display tank, as soon as that is done just keep your calcium 420 ppm and above, coraline will soon grow.
im planning to set up a tank for an octopus w/ LR , and my question is, what is the bare minimum of WPG would it take to keep live rock, NOT corals just good looking rock..

is thare a way around keeping the tank temp low other then buying a chiller, or fans across the water and using ice bags in the tank? i have a huge problem from my MH lighting putting out a lot of heat. and i already got fans.
