Sounds like you are taking on too much of the tank water with little or no protein. If the cup is not fillling with a green/brown smelly protein soloution then it is tank water. Turn back on the intake flow and let it sit that way for a few days. You should see the brown foam slowly creeping...

Depends on the size of the QT tank. If you use some water, rock and sand from you cured tank to get at least 50-60% filled in the QT tank you'll be OK. Fill the remainder with new salt water, move the fish over with it and begin treatment

I have a problem with Aptasia over running my tank. I mixed a thick solution of Kalkwasser and water and feed it to the Aptasia through a needle. It caused a lot of free floating particles of Kalk in the tank so I stopped. Is this the proper method for killing of the aptasia with Kalk????

I was able to remove the rock he made a home and put it in my QT tank. I hope I dont kill off all the good life that was on it. I will try to get the worm while it's in the QT tank. Do the traps work or should I stick with a home made trap?
