    Lawn Mower Blenny Eating?

Thank You for the responses. I have seen some kiss marks on the tank. He must be eating something because he is still active and doesn't look sick or thin. He has been very interesting fish. It is entertaining when he sits on the live rock and changes color.

    Lawn Mower Blenny Eating?

I placed a Lawn Mower Blenney in my 55 g tank two weeks ago. I yet to see this fish eat? I have about 65 lbs of live rock and place a 3 inch strip each day of algae on a clip. The crabs seem to be the only one eating the seaweed salad. I s there a way I can persuade this fish to eat more?

    Red legged Hermits (killer crabs!)

I had the same thing happen whn I ordered an invert package from SWF.com. Out of the forty hermits (blue and red) one arrived eaten and within 4 weeks I lost about 12 crabs. Moslty red. I think they were fighting over shells. Oh well more food for the emeralds, sally and CBS.

    Water changes

I do 20 % every two weeks. I start by preparing the water three days ahead of the water change. I put about 15 g of water in a keg bucket. Mix in the salt, heater and powerhead. Test the salt level a day before. I then do the water change. A great way to spend your Sunday morning!

    *****

I have had no complaint with *****. I have purchased some basic SWF. Yellow Tang , Clowns, and Damsels. I would not recommend buying advanced fish. I have noticed thier Angels are usually in poor condition or stressed. I agree with the lack of knowledge in some stores. Do your research ahead.
