How over priced is your LFS

I deal with Broadway tropicals in Denver. They have some of the best prices on fish and live rock. Some of thier prices even beat the online stores. I usally get LR for 4-5 per lbs. Then we have the other stores in town that are crazy about prices.

OT-Id 1 fish from the movie Nemo

Was it me or did the Dentist in that movie have to many fish in that tank? What was with the fake plants and volcanoe? No live rock? No Wet Dry? How come the fish didn't die when they shut down the filter? Just a thought.:p

best way to do water change?

I agree with going to Home Depot or Lowes. Purchase the hose from them. Another idea is to buy the buckets they sell for holding a beer keg. They hold about 15-20 gallons of water. Great for pre-mixing your water.

I have red and blue hermits. They seem to get along fine. The crabs have started to knock off the snails. Last night I noticed two crabs (R &B) that where sporting new snail shells.

    clip for algae sheets

Clips are about 3 bucks. I put a 3 inch strip of seaweed each morning on a clip for my Kole Tang. What is left is eaten by the Sally LF or Hermits. There is usually none left by 5 PM

    undulate trigger

I had an undaleted years ago in my 55. The only fish he didn't kill was a large lion. All inverts will be eaten. Great looking fish but nasty once they get adjusted to the tank.
