what is the best way. i have read every way but there is alot of controversy about what is the best way.. should i bleach it or should i put it in the washing machine with no bleach and no soap? if i do that what if there is a little bit of soap left from the previous wash.. thanks in advance

it really can be off that much, you really should use a refractometer...i used to think that my hydrometter was on point then i got a refractometer....boy was i wrong... GET ONE NOW!!!!!!! and maybe you should try copper?

there is some rust on he egg crate, just a tiny bit. thats why i am concerned. and also, about the algea, i moved my power heads closer to the sand and blew the algea off the sand...is this going to make it spread worse?

ok so i have egg crate on the top of my 90g with 760w mh's. rightnow there is nothing in th tank, just fish and sand becasue i was doing hypo in my dt. i had 2 metal wrenches on top of the egg crate in the corner where the over flow is, i looked at the wrenches tody and the oneis kinda rusty...

i have about 2" of sand in my dt, but 4+ in my fuge along with chaeto. i still have trates of 20. would adding more sand to my dt really help me out? or should my dsb and chaeto in the fuge start working soon(its only been in there for about 2 weeks).
