Don't waste your time or money with the Greenex. IT DOES NOT WORK! If you read the threads on this board pertaining to Greenex. You will learn that at best it will turn your Silicone green and at worst it will kill your fish. The only two ways to treat ick are Copper and Hypo. Good Luck. Scott

Don't waste your time with the Greenex. All it will do is turn your Silicone Green. There are only 2 real effective treatments for Ick. Hypo or Copper. If you don't have inverts or live rock, you can do Hypo right in the tank. Good Luck. Scott

Jason, My understanding is that Yes, when done properly, Hypo alone can kill Ick. If it is not an option, you should get a QT tank. None of the medications really work very well. Scott
