Day 3 and the eel is still AWOL. If he's not in the tank still then how far could he possibley go? There's only about a 1.5x5inch area that open in the back that he could have even gotten out of. Are eels just that good at hiding?

i hope it's under the sand too. i looked all over and could not find it. I'll see if i can find it in the morning.

OK Thanks i'll go pick up a feeding stick. Day 2 both clowns are fine the gramma is still AWOL and the Eel is now AWOL. Must be buried in the sand or something. I also can't find the freeze Dried Krill i put in last night so he either ate ot or it sank to the bottom.

I turned the lights off and he's swimming all over the place. This is awesome. The clowns don't seem to be too bothered by him at all.

I got a banded snake eel today. He's about 14 inches long maybe even a little more like 16. In the tank with him right now is a Gramma (awol) and 2 1.5 inch Percula Clowns. I bought some freeeze dried krill to feed him. Anyone know if he will come to the top and eat it or do i have to do...

OK I think my problem is that i don't have a valve on my tubing. I have no way of setting the air intake. Is there something i can buy that will work? Also do the bubbles hurt the fish at all?

The tank is about 2 months old only had 2 small clowns about 1 inch each and 1 1.5-2 inch gramma in there for about 1 week. He may not be dead yet but he wasn't doing very well when i found him stuck under a rock in a hole i didn't think he could even fit in.

Hello again. I have a Royal Gramma in my tank that i lost for a few days then found him stuck under a rock i got him out and he didn't look to good now he's missing again. If he dies will it cause an ammonie spike in my tank?

Was Wondering if having to eels in the same tank is a bad idea? I want a SFE as well as a banded snake eel. there both very cool fish. I'm suddenly thinking i should just do an agressive fish tank..... but anyway can i put 2 different eels together? I also only have a 55 gallon tank.
