This tank is more of a temporary tank till i get a bigger one so this one will probboly never have any SPS or clams in it So i'm thinking the lights at the top of this thread might work fine and i'm sure i could get some higher wattage bulbs instead of the one's they come with unless someone...

So what if i buy that setup but get higher wattage bulbs? Would that be good enough for most soft corals and inverts?

Can i just put it Right in?

i'm refilling my tank and am using distilled water. Do i need to treat it at all or can i just pour it right in?

ok right now my tank is cycling with....umm....60lbs of live rock maybe a little more...Ammonia has already been up and is almost gone...nitrates and trites are following the right path as well my ph is at 8.2 and salinity at 1.025 ...i have the 60 gallon Whisper filter that came with the tank...

on my LR there are these almost unoticible by the [hr] eye white...bugs? maybe that are running around the rock and even swim through the water...i'm talking there so small i truly don't know ow i saw them...i guess when you sit and stare long enough you just seem to find things haha Anyone...

i'll be getting a halide bulb setup once i'm ready but i'd like to keep the rocks nice for now if possible at the cheapest way without lacking as in not so cheap i'm trying to cut anything out

i'm using the lights that came with my fishtank originally i asked on this site and everyone said the plain 18 inch florecents will be good enough....my salinity is good right now Are there any bulbs like the coralife one's or something i should get?

Hello again heh i got some live rock sent to me and i also bought some from my LFS is it normal that all the oranges and reds and pinks are going away? right now the rocks are cycling my tank as well as curing....

i tested my water on friday and my Ammonia level were through the roof now on sunday night there down to .50ppm is that nromal for is to happen that fast? i have 60lbs of live rock and no live sand
