I was reading about Anemones and it said they were slighty poisonous. Does that hurt fish? Will it hurt other corals? I kind of like the Anemones because they are cheap but still look pretty good for some starters.

Anyone ever have a small Baby sea turtle? is that even legal?

is this enough light for coral in a 55 gallon fishtank? The bulb is 20W and i would get 2 18 inch bulbs

That's what i just did i been washing ym rock for about 2 hours now heh it looked like someone thrwe it in the dirt before sending it and ther's all sorts of dead plants i wish weren't dead on it haha

Hi i just got 30lbs of live rock today in the Mail and it's got alot of dead stuff on it...seems it was never really cleaned at all...how exactly do i wash it up? do i take a sponge and scrub everything off of it? should i just put it in my tank to cycle the tank? anyone know what i should do?

what kind of rock is less weight exactly? i want to look into different rock...is tonga branch as dense?

OK don't take this response as fact but i remember reading somewhere that eels can go up to a few weeks without eating if it was well fed the last time he ate....i'm very new to this too so i could be wrong

ok i added sand the first time and it was fine i didn't rinse it out and everything was ok....then i just added 30lbs of marine sand and i didn't wash it out....the tank is now a cloud of chalk..i called the LFS who didn't tell me to rinse it out and they said to filter it out...but i let it...

i'm cycling a 55 gallon tank and lost a mollie in the sand...i think...do i HAVE to find him or can i let it rot? there' won't be fish in there until i get all my rock anyway

when setting up my live rock do i want it to be touching any glass at all? I plan on making all sorts of holes and caves if possible for the fish to swim through but don't know how to really do it yet Is it best to place all the rock in the middle of the tank with open water surrounding it? OR...
