i have a sump/wet dry made out of a 30g tank and some tupperware containers... in the sump im going to have a skimmer and pump. if i was to add another tupperware container somewhere in the sump, and throw in some LS, LR, and macroalgea just like a refugium would have, and cut some holes in it...

is it bad to feed sfe's every other day? i have one and it eats mysis that the fish dont get, and i also drop cut up peices of formula one with gel binder and he takes it all done. i dont have to spot feed or anything... is this bad>

should i just get the mag 9.5 and put a ball valve in the return ?

im nmot sure if i should get a mag 7 or a mag 9.5 pump. if i get a 7 then it might only do 350gph and if i get a mag 9 it might do too much at 6-700gph at about 6 feet head. the head loass that im counting is a guess at 6 feet. it might only be 5 feet. idk can anyone help?
