thanks i know off one other salt water tank should i buy sand from other lfs?

we just added some bags of sand and a top coating of live sand- does the bags of sand now become live sand in the tank?:notsure:

LFS told me that the star will eat small fish and the cuke was harmless but took care of bottom of tank cleaning it. will the star eat the cuckes?

we have a large bristal star in 90 gallon tank, should we get rid of the star and put cucumbers instead? thanks for your help. :confused:

smaller clown was the one that died. believe it was perc. though not positive.

just checked it. it has now moved on top of small rock. should we leave it or move it to the sand on the other side of rock? thanks for your help. as you can see we are new at this.

we bought a lt anemone about a 2 weeks ago - it was buried in the sand today it is one top of sand is this normal? do we put it back in the sand or leave it alone? also do we feed it? and if so - what? thanks for your help. this is our first anemone want to get this right

ultra fr40 - 2 actnic white hi bulbs then 2 bulbs the same as white then we have 2 thin bulbs a white and a blue we use those for dawn and twilight and the others are on about 8 hours the tank has been set up about 2 months we bought it from somebody used the existing water, sand, rocks etc...

bought a anemone to go with the clown fish last week-the anemone was doing fine all week - today it just sort of went back into its base. it is a cream color with green tips. what is going on? This is our first anemone. want to get this right before we get some more. thanks for your help.

we are moving a 90 gal. existing tank. any suggestions about the easy was of doing it. Do we have to set up some buckets with water now and let it sit? Can we take some buckets and move the water with the tank?

just bought a 90 gal. existing reef tank, planning to move it next week. should we buy some cans and put water in to sit - or can we take the water out of tank and put that water in some buckets. and then move the tank with some water and then add fresh water. If we put some water in buckets...
