yes i would remove your fish into a qt or holding tank. you should not haft to restart the cycling process but the tank may be unstable for the next week or so.

around wher i am there are schools of mullet up to a mile long. same with the sharks and stingrays when they migrate. i bet you could catch some monster bass throwing a worm out infront of thoes boat houses in the spring and summer time. how deep is the lake?
