will a kole tang devour all my macroalgea. if so can yall suggest a tang that will not. i dont mind if they nip at it i just dont want it all eaten.

qt your corals too. the corals i bought last week reintroduced ich back into my tank that i spent all this money and time to get rid of. it made me mad.:mad: apperently lr, inverts, and coral can cary the ich spores around.

my guy at my lfs said he would not sell them bacause they die after a few weeks because they dont eat or something.

for you i would at least get a 30gallon qt, maybe 40gallon. if the fighting dosent stop after a few days i would return the butterfly. if you had a qt you could use it to hold the tang in for a week days so that the butterfly could get settled in and clame his own territory.

the only thing i would worry about then is how similar they are in shape and color. that may spark never ending fighting between the two. do you have a qt set up?

the tang is just showing dominance to the new fish. it should pass. how big is your tank?

i keep two triggers with a clown, no problems. the clown will be long gone befor the humu trigger gets to the size where it will be a danger if it will ever be. the humu trigger is actualy not as mean as people think. it can be if it wants to but for what ever reason it doesnt. so you should...

thoes tangs should not be in a tank that size. that could be one problem. if your tank is cycled you should have 0 ammonia. you may be adding fish too fast.

good. this is what normaly what happens with dwarf angels. it should start eating other foods in the next few days. but do not mess with it at all if you stress it out now you will haft to restart.
