Whats chaetomorpha do?

Everything is still high as far as ammonia and nitrites. Here in about an hour I am going to ***** for a nitrate test kit. Does algae growth mean I now have nitrates?

So somebody give me a diagram and what materials,pumps I will need for it please? Ive looked online with no luck.

Its been 6 days since.i.started my fowlr and im now.seeing what looks like a green algae on some of my rocks. Is this a good thing or should I be worried?

The cuc will eat leftover food I guess until the algea starts to bloom. But I wasnt adding them today,my ammonia is still showing. On another note....yesterday I resealed my 20 gallon and by tomorrow I should be able to add water to check for leaks and if all is good I can transfer everything...

Lmao,u guys are crazy. Once its all good to go I will get two percs and then wait a while to add another. Maybe a clean up crew with my percs,but thats it for now.

Didnt mean to start a feud,lol. Im saying that once my levels are rigjt,id like to stary with a more hardy fish is all.

For a first fish just to check out the new environment I use a male molly.  If you can keep that alive for a few weeks then the tank is probably fine for the clowns. If you lose the molly then you're only out $2.99 and can try again.  Much better than losing a more expensive clown. my .02...

Be pacient and go with either putting shrimp or flake food in,they both work. I used tropical flake food in a tank with no live rock or live sand and my tank spiked in 2 days. On day 4 it spiked high with nitrites,waiting for the nitrates now. Hopefully in a few days I will be able to add a fish...

I know that. I am asking about fish for beginners and after its done cycled with using fish food.

Id like to get one or two percula clowns in my new 10 gallon fowlr after the cycle is done. Should I go for it or start off with more hardy fish like damsils?
