I read some where that they are beneficial, I've also read that if you find them on the coral, they are probably eating the dead tissue on a coral which actually helps it to heal faster. Cant find the article, I think it was on wetwebmedia, not sure though. Yeah,thats what I read somewhere too.

Well that sucks! But I did read that u can inject them with lemon juice to kill them and that normally they wont attack ur fish. But I will definitely be getting rid of these anemones down the road.

I did some more research and the piece of lr also came with coraline algae and foraminiferans.....some kind of filter feeder also like a sponge. Its dark red and grows outward like a coral.

Can I put it in my hang on filter or no?
