A nitrate kit and a piece of liverock. Heres the deal.though. It has 3 tube worms.on it ,plus coraline algae and then this thing I can not identify. It is round with some tenticle looking things, light tan or yellow in color amd some of the tenticles are.holding it.in place while the rest wave in the water.flow. I dont know how to upload photos or.i would. Does amyone have an.idea of what this may be?

I think pictures of both critters are needed here for identification. Otherwise I am guessing.

This is a sponge. The exact ID escapes me but it is one of the few sponges that do not lay down a permanent base. They can actually crawl around a bit which is incredible IMO.

These are Aiptasia sp.
Your store did you no favors by including these with your purchase. These are among the 10 most destructive pests you could have received.

Well that sucks! But I did read that u can inject them with lemon juice to kill them and that normally they wont attack ur fish. But I will definitely be getting rid of these anemones down the road.

Don't wait too long, they will spread quickly to plague proportions under the right conditions. And a new tank with higher nitrates are the right conditions.
