    Good observation. First a little back ground. The yellow is my oldest living fish. I actually purchased it from someone on the site that was breaking down his tank. That was over 9 years ago.     If you live on the gulf coast of Florida and you walk the beach you never know what you may find to add to your tank. This afternoon I found this pen shell covered with the remains of other gastropods, bivalves and univalves. It will make a nice FREE addition to my tank.

    yes by adding more epoxy to the joints you will strengthen the load bearing areas If its not going to be much trouble I would chip away at the mating surfaces to get a little more contact. If that’s a hassle just epoxy it as is. Use a good two part aquariums epoxy for use under water.

    I love your tank I would not change it epoxy it back in place then start building up the strength by adding epoxy to the joints as the pieces harden

You do yourself a disservice in putting restraints on their comments. IMO grow a thick skin give as good as you receive...
