Lol its been awhile since ive bought a new sw fish.

Ah very good. My lfs has a nice looking smaller one. A fish ive though about but i was really looking at a fox face i saw last week. Noticed the tang and it honestly seems to have some personality. Swims to the front isnt easily spooked by movement. I may go back tomm and pick it up.

How are these guys? Especially as far as mixing with other tangs? Not other sail fins lol

Only my dwarf lion is big enough. Thats bc i found smaller ones 2-3" silvers. Iam just trying to vary its diet. Now it eats prawns and krill. W the prawn i occasionally find small fish and it eats those. So silvers came to mind

I want to say ive read where these are a poor food choice. Thoughts?

Not all tangs are called magnets. Generally reserved for the hippo. However i think all are susceptible

If u got them from a lfs ask what they fed them. My original pair wouldn't touch mysis. My first fish so its all i had. I didn't get brine bc nutrition wise it sucks. After 3 days i called the store, brine and hikari marine s pellets. So i got that. Starting eating rt away. Idk if its bc most...

I use 4 cubes a day lol. Mysis, sprilina brine, hikari mega marine, and hikari marine s pellets. I only feed pellets sparingly, just the clowns eat them. For my lion i feed frozen prawns and krill

A male will have a long top fin and flashes it. Females much shorter fin. You can keep multiple females w a male

True enough. Maybe one day i will take a hippo leap. It should mix will my current residents.
