Can fish actually burp?

I just got home and now he's eating everything in sight so I'm not sure what happened to him last night my guess is he had to much fish beer

Do you think he might have swallowed some air?

I feed him 3-4 times daily with mysis shrimp, table shrimp, krill, and sprilulina brine shrimp

My clown trigger stopped eating last night. He was also swimming weird he was kinda wobbly and would occasionally bump into the rocks he also would drag his belly on the sand. This morning he seems to have control of himself now but he's still not interested in food. Any ideas?

I have to agree with trigger it would probably be better to just dump him in black tips need to constantly move or they might suffocate.

Then you picked the wrong ones I know a lot of the hob skimmers aren't great but some of them well worth the money

That's understandable but anytime your taking water out of the tank there's a possibility of it leaking. Also just because you hate them doesn't mean you should say all of them are bad

I'm running a reef octopus bh2000 I think it's a great skimmer it's been my only source of filtration for almost 2 months. I've had zero issues with it and it makes good thick skimmate.

I'm gonna have to disagree about hob skimmers being worthless because that's all I'm using on my tank and my water is crystal clear and my parameters are perfect.

It depends on what corals you want to keep but eBay or Amazon has some good deals on reef lights just search 160w reef light most of them are capable of growing any coral.

Fluval and aquaclear make good hob filters. Reef octopus makes some good hob skimmers look at the bh1000. Your also gonna want a fewpowerheads.

There very shy I don't know about them hurting themselves but they will hide if your near the tank. I say go for it hippo tangs are great.
