Emerald clowns are oporotunistic eaters. They'll do damage if something is sick or dying ... Or slow. Starry bennies can be teritorial, I've seen it with my own eyes. And honestly clowns can be extremely aggresive.

Have you thought about a Quarenrine to reduce stress and see if they will eat?

Flower it was my understanding that skimmers help with the gas exchange as well... But that would kill then that early would it? 5 is a ton!

Have you tried drip acclimation? Also having the clown and the tang in a 36 could definitely cause some aggression issues, however having them die so soon makes it feel likes it's an acclimation issue.

LOL Sorry! I always look in the new post section and forget to check on forum section! I have a 65G FOWLR I use 55lbs of live rock, 1 inch of live sand, 306 Fluval canister (with Carbon, bios, and polisher pads) I do water changes every 6-8 weeks. Hoping for a HOB Skimmer in the next 3-5...
