ok everything in my tanks is out my hammer coral, button polyps, f.d.'s, bubble coral, buble anemeone and condy.. everything is great water condition to but my star polyps is all contrcted its been like this for 24 hours. any ideas?

1) are cow fish hard to keep. 2) what is this i hear about them releasing toxins into the water when scared? does this happen alot? 3)what do you feed them. 4)will my yellow tailed damsel bother him?

YOU CANNOT PROPAGATE anemones only some corals. anemones reproduce by splitting. i am almost positive you cant.

i have a 58 gallon its been set up for 7 months. i have had one for 2 and a half weeks. he wiped out the pods in 1 week. since the i have got him to eat live brine shrimp though. i would only suggest one.

not to sure about the crab but most small starfish that are tag alongs are Carnivores and will munch on your corals :mad: im from oklahoma to where do you shop at?

the color is not real red or green its more of a brown. alos i do use di water. and have turbos astreas scarlets and blue leg hermit crabs and snail. but hey are not doing there job.

anyone have a starfish only tank? i was thinking of getting a 20 long or 29 gallon and only putting about 20-30 pounds live rock in it with just starfish, like the red general and other you cant put in a reef tank. do starfish have to have good lighting? are any starfish not compatible. thanks...

i have a litlle bit of ahir algae on my sand bed would a horseshoe crab take care of this? also my sand bed is only about an inch deep is seriously to shallow for a horseshoe crab. is there any other inverts that will eat this algae. i have a 58 gallon tank.thanks.
