Have you tested your water to make sure it's ok? If he's ok in your other tank then maybe something is off in you regular tank. Temp, salinity, ph, ammonia, nitrates, etc. I definately wouldn't flush him. Keep him in your other tank so he doesn't suffer until you figure it out.

I envy you, I want to change my tank over to seahorses and a pipefish or two. Everything I keep reading here they are really easy to take care of. If I was you I wouldn't even think about it, I would just do it. Good Luck

I have the same problem. I have 3 and 1 of them only swims with the other 2 when he feels like it. He is the meanest of the 3 so I know he's not being bullied. I think he thinks he too good for the other 2.:thinking:
