    What is this??

The aptaisa or the sea squirt? (Aptaisa; small glass anemone on left, or the sea squirt; semi clear multi chambered tunicate on the right?)

Hey Clemson, depending on what size you're going for a nano cube can be a good off the shelf option. At least in Southern California you can get one for like $500 for a 24 and they will throw in live rock, sand and water. This is how I started my tank. Even if you had to buy the live rock and...

Ok, I'll take a look when I get a chance. So I added a pair of red spotted scooter blennies to the tank recently. Male and female (as discernible by the males yellow dorsal fin). They have taken to the tank really well, and are already accepting frozen brine and mysis. Excellent news considering...

Ok its a freshwater tank, but I wanna share.

Not the best with the plants currently. Fish are doing pretty good. Stable numbers for the last year. Need to do a big water and substrate change soon. Happy new year :)

One of my paired clowns died! So sad, had him for 4+ years. The female is really sad now, or at least appears sad for a fish. Will getting a new one be ok? Would they be likely to pair or bicker?

    SocalNano24s Tank Diary

I've been good. Life's the usual busy. Tanks have been more or less the same for a long time. My Monti is coming back, slowly but surely. I've got like 4 or 5 buds of it that grew back from the original. I figure if I get the water parameters back to how I used to have em, maybe ill get it...

Any thoughts? Is it worth taking the rock out and doing a 30 second fresh water dip to see if it pops out.

What is it? My guess is Bobbit worm. It's hiding inside a piece of live rock has "tentacles" on its I think that's a face, appears to be maybe 1/4" diameter and is solid black. I've also seen strings of small white egg looking things coming out of this rock.
