The type of fish doesnt' particularly matter what type of acclimation you do. Both of those methods have a similar end result if done for more than an hour. I do about a shot glass or turkey baster full every 15 minutes usually, probably a bit less than a 1/4 cup.

I have the aqua c remora nano. It is noisy but I've only had it for 11 days. The break I'm period is supposed to be about two weeks min. So far it seem to be doing the job and it looks really sleek. Easy installation.

I just got a remora nano hang on back skimmer. It's not the best if you want to have everything closed in a hood. but for the size it seems to be working great.
