IMHO, you need to look at body size, shape, coloring and the feeding/resting habits of each fish to help with compatibility. Avoid crowding the tank with too many sand dwelling/feeding fish, and so forth. One fish won't look at another and recognize it as another wrasse and fight it for that...

They can be finicky and it's always a good rule of thumb to see the seahorse eat frozen food before you believe they will. 2 weeks is a relatively short time in retraining a seahorse to frozen from live food. In my opinion, it would be a fine idea to order some copepods to be sure the seahorse...
