Glad to hear! Can you tell the genders of the mollies?

Sorry to hear about the hydrometer. It does make sense that the SH would react to high SG. Perhaps the sloughing of skin has to do with that. I hope so. When you get the sg under control, you may want to try a dose of diamox, sort of a settling med, if your SH doesn't snap back to feeding. How...

1st time pony tank set up!

That is a very appealing tank! Just the right whimsy for seahorses. I'm impatient for you to get them, too! Sending out kharma/prayers/hopes for your remaining stationary.

Have them test the water full range of tests. It is MOST important to know that the levels are where they should be. You won't know where to start if you don't have the most important info. I would not further stress the SH yet. If the SH refuses food, post immediately.

Your SH might "slough off" while acclimating. It may excrete some odd substances. It could be normal. Expecting the animal to endure yet another change is not wise. If your readings are withing reason and you have no spikes in levels, the SH should be OK.

I have to differ. If the SH is OK and you have not ID'd the white as a threat, don't change your water chemistry. Use your tank tools and remove the "bad white" as completely as possible. Why leave it there? If more appear, say so.
