it all depends on what stand you have for the tank if your corners on the bottom of the stand are clear underneath for the pipe to go thru.but you want to drill the corner of the tank and leave room around the hole for the fitting to goin and have clearance around to the sides of the tank.are...

why cant you take the vinyl tube off and pour a cupful of water in the line to prime the pump??

you can try a tee. with a 5 inch piece of pipe comeing out of the air side of the te faceing up it might work,place a piece of floss over the the top of the air intake to defuse the air.

a over pumped skimmer,is a over pumped skimmer. the thing will be dumping water on your floor insted of foam in your cup

you should set it and forget it for a while ,save some money and buy a different one if your going to stay in the hobbie
