when i had mine i would open it all the way up to create the fatest cyclone in the tube with bubbles spilling into the display tank and then slowly close it until the bubbles were minimal and it collected organic material but it started leaking at the fittings after about a year. hope this helps

can you take a pic of the cyclone inside the skimmer and i may be able to tell if somethings wrong

not bashing, just constructive criticism. I tried the hobby at your age and failed because i slacked on maintenence ie.. water changes etc all because of lack of money. Just don't want you to make the mistakes i did.

ive had my linkia for 8 mths in my 3year old reef and i noticed he's been shrinking?? he is now kinda curled up in my sand bed and it's a bit confusing?? Any ideas? Any recommended meds if available?? thanks
