I would just stick with water changes until you get a test kit that gives you actual numbers. That said, with your calcium being low at 340ppm... bring it up to 400 to 420 will lower your alkalinity. but again water changes would probably be your best bet.

Thanks a bunch... we are working all day the kids are in school and as I said summer is comming. We get them out most of everynight but that still leaves a lot of time being in the cage.

hoya = birdmom?? not surprising I guess. Mike, will you please give me your opinion on this?? Would it be better to only have one IF they do not get a LOT of attention? I can't help but to think they would appreciate the company.

btw hoya, the birds can "jump" and fly up about 2 feet before gliding back down. Do you think they need their wings clipped again??
