i wouldnt say in that i am not experienced. but for now i have my tank at a friends house that has had an established tank for the past few years so if i run into any trouble he is always here to give me a helping hand ;)

yeah most of the live rock here is going for anout 7.00 a Lb for nice rocks...most all the rock has coraline little sponges plants LOADS of life... this is in fla. to day the least GOOD ROCK nate_j

I just got a new condi anemone from my lfs and im wondering if its possible to feed it live shrimp, like from a bait shop (not ghost shrimp) but the ones you use to fish with......any thoughts are helpful nate_j

what was the problem? skimmers are supposted to do that..just like the ocean does it with the foam from the waves what was it doing before?? sounds like it works alright to me

so you just hooked it up and it leveled out fine? did you make your own?

i just made my own overflow box and i was just wondering when i get it all hooked up with the hoses and the pipe that goes from the inside(inside the tank") to the outside(outside of the tank) will it naturally balance its self out or do i have to move the overflow box up and down to either...
