And in my experience dottybacks and royal grammas always pick on firefish because their colors are similar, but you can take the chance and be successful with them too

I have had corals for about a year but I just started with sps. The frag u see at the bottom is a month old and the one at the top is new. I dont know if the white around the edges should be so big. It might be the beginning of bleaching?

I dont have too much experience with light.. power compact lights could work for a tank that small but I have tried many lights and LED lights seem to work good and I know T5s and metal halides do too but for a tank that small I think MH would get too hot. And as for a heater I have a eheim...

Its always the best feeling when starting a new tank. But there is alot to learn. You wont be able to have tangs in a tank that small (u need at LEAST 75 gal). And you dont need a sump for corals even though it is very helpful. RO water is the way to go and in my opinion I would get better salt...

I never heard of any of these snails exept the cerith. What is carrion? Are stomatella, collonista and narsissus rare snails? I never see then unless these are scientific names ill look around

i did use base rock for the whole tank exept for one piece. And there is fish in it now.. I was thinking of maybe buying alot of LR and putting it in qt for a month... Anyone have any experience with miracle mud?

thats what i would like to do... but i know i would be risking the anems coming back because i can see them on the glass, sand, little niches, it just seems logical to wipe out whole tank

ya thats what i was going to do, i was going to add a safe piece of rubble or two. will the container still cycle?. idk if i should keep all the rock in the DT and run really low salinity or take some out and dry it/boil it too
