Well i don't have a fish that hides but my pom pom crab which is such a neat critter never comes out and when he does he is the talk of the night. Not very often so i would never get another one of these guys again. Thats to bad the fish did not work out for you, they are very beautiful fish.

I forgot to answer your question Nissan, my cleanup crew is not very big but the sexy shrimp are always picking away at algae, I have one algae eating cowrie, one nassarisu snail and they seem to do the trick.

The glass is a pain in the butt , I do it often and use a plastic scraper. I use to use a razor but they soon rust and break with saltwater so I use the cap that fits over the blade and it has a very hard clear plastic that works like a charm and its the same size as a razor blade so its perfect...
