you may be a little overstocked, with that many fish (i have four [maroon clown, pygmy angle, royal gramma, & lawnmower blenny] in a 29g. my trates stay at 20,which is to high imo) for a 24g. a lawnmower blenny also may not do well( i say MAY not) most only eat alge so he may starve. my lmb eats...

i have a purple gor. how big a frag are you wanting? i haven't fragged him in a while. but they are easy to frag. takes less then a week to be ready. my ave. frag is 5 to 6 inches tall. where in texas are you? i live in norman oklahoma. firedad720@hotmail.com

i never had any caroline(sp) alge on my rock until i started adding calcium. now i have to clean my glass just to be able to see the tank:D . i would check your calcium levels. i'll bet thats your problem rick

tap water may be your problem. might try ro/di water. i get mine from lfs. rick

i have only four fish in my 29gal. and my bioload is maxed out. all my fish are good for a small tank. none of your fish belong in a small tank, and you have way to many fish for your bioload to handle. i bet you loose many fish to stress and aggression. rick

coralife makes an "aqualight pro" that is a mh light. also has a pc artinic with moonlight. that is 24 inches, and will set on the tank. cheaper then other mh setups but still around $450. just do a search on internet to find best price rick

i'm not sure about 2 or three of them, but of the ones i do know. i'd say none should be in a 30 gal. if they are they would have to be small. and only to set up a BIGGER tank. i'm guessing you don't mean all of these fish at once rick

everyone i talked to, i have a phosphate problem also, suggested a product called marc weiss phosphate magnet. i used a half bottle, its a brown powder, witch is a oversized does for my 29 gal. my phosphate is coming down. starting to get a little groth out of my corals now. rick
