I have 5 Peppermint shrimp in my 45 and I noticed that 2 of them have black tails. They werent black when I got them. Does anyone have any idea why they turned black?

Domino are the most aggressive, while the Yellowtail is the least aggressive.

Instead of cutting, you could ust try giving it an Iodine dip in Lugols solution. I am doing that to mine and it appears to be doing better. Also keep it where there is good water movement.
