    A few questions...

Hi and welcome to swf. Sounds like you are going to have a nice setup for dwarf SH. You can feed your cycle by either adding a small piece of raw shrimp or just adding a bit of fish food. Your tank is small so don't add too much. Monitor your ammonia get a good test kit for ammonia...

Can I put any stings in my 55 reef??

Fantastic Krista, just be careful if he gets a bad bite off the tongs it might turn him off any stick, add small pieces of salmon or shrimp with the ghost shrimp, once he gets used to the stick when he sees it he will know it is food coming. Great progress.

    415 Gallon Plywood Tank Build

Cool Shawn, you have some cool pieces there, keep the pictures coming. I just did some rocks for my lion tank and I used some plastic ties then epoxied small pieces on to hide the plastic strips, maybe I should have used white ties. Good luck buddy.

    Help-clownfish larvae keep dying

Well I pour 6 to 8 cups of rotifers through the sieve for the fry tank. When I look at the fry tank water I can see alot of rotifers, they don't have to go far to eat, also your tank should be completely covered (black, with a light on). I add about 6 drops of the rotifer food as well.

    Help-clownfish larvae keep dying

The fry tank has to be full of the rotifers, so the water is cloudy with them. I am sorry you lost them.

    Help-clownfish larvae keep dying

I have a batch of eggs being transfered tomorrow night, last time I transfered one day early and lost them all. I think egg quality was poor due to my PH's in the parent tank were really plugged up, the pair actually did not pay as much attention to them, this time they are full at it.

    Simple Sump Design Question

The thing I have found with float valve is the float part of the mechaism can fail, if you look closely at the float you will see that the plastic part is two parts and there is a seam, what I have done is sealed that seam with crazy glue and a bit of silicon to prevent it from coming apart. My...
