    "True Grit" is beyond good

Yes, Quad was indeed excellent... lord he became skinny for that role. But for me, Val climbed onto my top 5 list with that one.

    "True Grit" is beyond good

It just contained "nothing". I don't know, can't explain it. Jeff did an awesome job. Some of the lines were exactly how it was in the original, which was a proven recipe.... but it just didn't do it for me. Val Kilmer in Tombstone is one of my all time favorite movies.

    "True Grit" is beyond good

I feel asleep 3 times..... I personally thought it sucked. I've seen absolutely ever single western out there (albeit I don't like the horse-tripping days). I can quote John Wayne (and Clint for that matter).

Those are good filters. Yes, you can buy them anywhere. I pretty much get them off auctions.

PICTURES with my new MACRO LENSE

You can use a remote or corded shutter release. Or the timer function on the camera. I use a corded. Yes, use the UV filters. They'll protect your lens. What brand UV filter is it?

PICTURES with my new MACRO LENSE

I always have to tell myself before a new camera/lens arrives "Stay calm. You will learn the camera." I miss so many great photo ops during the first month where I'm always saying "I would have gotten that with the old camera". Then all of a sudden you even learn the sound your shutter needs to...

PICTURES with my new MACRO LENSE

Ya, I could see the light coming in from the side. More light on the stage would have been the key. Was it really at 9am or do you need to set your camera clock.

PICTURES with my new MACRO LENSE

You know those irritating people that are on foot in the aisle and in front climbing around with their camera... that's where you needed to be. I can't say an unattached flash would ever reach the stage depending on what you got and where your sitting. How bright were thouse lights around the...

PICTURES with my new MACRO LENSE

Well, the lighting was an issue here. The darker ones, your flash went off, but you're too far away from the stage for the flash to reach. Look at how it lit up the back oh the heads of the audience. That's as far as your flash will reach and the distance you needed to be to take a properly lite...

PICTURES with my new MACRO LENSE

Sweet.... It takes awhile to "learn" a new camera. I cry for about the first month cause I think my pics look like crap when I get a new one.

Building my 56 gallon Column reef tank

Good Lord! That's awesome rock. It's been a long time since I've seen it look like that. Once upon a time it's all you can get.... now-a-day everything looks like it's a hair away from being base rock.

    TOO HONEST????

I rarely have paper money. The only time I do is when I go to work because of the vending machines. If the machine suddenly spat out $20 dollar bills, I would take it and run.... they owe me at least that much from all of the money I've lost in their machine while trying to get my midnight Mocha...
