    Should I add the "kalk" along with the sea chem? Or is the sea chem sufficient? Also is there ever too much calcium? Thanks for the advise!!!!

    Tank located near window. Also near heater vent but the vent is closed off. I set the heater at 75f, Could the heater be faulty, and me not know? Thanks for the help. Even with the "high" temps tank is doing well.Now it's time to take care of the algae!!!!!

    I found a hermit in my tank. Not sure how he got there? Will he be a problem for the tank. Right now I have him seperated until I decide what to do with it. I noticed at my local pet store that the hermits are not in their reef tanks!!!

    I'm getting very discouraged. My ammonia is high and I'm doing water changes to help bring it down. Nothing is working... Ammonia is at .5ppm Nitrate is 0 Nitrite is 0 Any suggestions????

    I have a "seaclone" protein skimmer and a whisper 3 filteris that sufficient for a 55 gal reef tank? Should I go with a filter with a bio wheel?
