    My new live rock!

That rock scape looks killer! pH fluctuates, so don't worry. You're doing just fine.

    new tank

I like the sunken ship and skull, too. I know a lot of reef keepers are against anything fake or unnatural-looking, but I think a well-placed sunken ship gives the tank some charm. ;)

I'm back pics from the move

Looks awesome. I moved my 10g...though only about 5 miles. It was pretty quick and easy. My tank wasn't nearly as full and mature as yours, nor as big. Good job!

    Frogspawn placement OK??

Your snails/crabs might knock it down, but other than that, it's fine. My frogspawn is also wedged between two rocks like that. :)

    cutting Xenia stalks

If you just want to temporarily cut them back, do just that. Cut the stalks off (I use a razorblade that I dispose of afterwards), and yank 'em out. I almost wish I hadn't got xenia -- they're such a pain. I'm trying to rid my tank of the brown variety, but if you don't scrape every last bit off...

    $1,000

I don't keep track of how much I spend on my tank. Don't want to know. However, I did get the tank, stand, filter, heater, powerhead, lr, ls, some tests and some coral from my mom when she upgraded to a bigger tank -- so thanks to her, my wallet is considerably heavier. She also got me my...

    24 gal Aquapod

I think maroons would get too big for your tank. I've never owned a maroon, but I believe they reach the same size as the gold-striped maroon. I have one of those in a 90 gallon at my work, and I can't imagine him being happy by himself in a 24g, let alone two! A pair of tank-raised ocellaris...

    listen to this!!!

I'm not familiar with the inner workings of an aquapod...what if you bent a small spoon with a long handle into an 'L' shape, and tried to scoop the goby out with that?

    7 gallon Minibow Front!!!

I would stay away from xenia. They would overrun that tank in no time. Maybe start off with some zoo's and mushrooms. My favorite coral is frogspawn; it would make a nice centerpiece for the tank. What about a feather duster? I would say that the blenny should be your only fish. He's way, way...

    24 gal Aquapod

A pair of clowns would be really nice -- and maybe a yellow watchman or a bicolor blenny for your third fish. If you want some color, a sixline wrasse.

    Birds nests pics

How big is it, and how much did you pay for it (if you don't mind telling)? Just for comparison to my LFS. I would like to get a bird's nest, but his price for a little frag of it seems pretty exorbitant...

    featherdusters?

A feather duster would be cool in your pico. They are filter feeders, so squirting some phytoplankton in there regularly will be just fine.

How Do You Drip Acclimate A Starfish Without Putting Shipping Water Into Tank?

That's pretty funny. Then how would one explain the starfish living in tidepools? They're submerged, then not, then again, then not their entire lives. The starfish will be fine a few seconds out of water.

    new coral, dead fish

If you post your tank's parameters (temp, sg, pH, ammonia, etc.) it would be possible to find out what happened. Damsels are pretty hardy, too, so I'm guessing it's a water quality issue.

Will I mess up my cycled tank?

I think you'll be fine. Are you taking the sand out, too? I've never removed the sand from my tank, but I've been told that it can start a "mini-cycle." If possible, maybe let your stock stay in the 20g for another day or two to watch the parameters in the 12g. Maybe someone with a little more...

    Otter's 5 gallon Diary

Looks good! I like the substrate, too -- I wish I'd gone with a darker sand for my 10 gallon. BTW, great avatar.

    bristle worms

It depends. If it seems like you have a lot of them and/or they're very large, it might be a sign you're overfeeding your tank. For the most part, they actually benefit the tank by eating the leftover food and waste from the other tank critters. They can pick clean a dead fish/invert in a matter...

    mahh

I would say that your fish list is kinda pushing it. Maybe stick with the royal gramma, clown, and one blenny. Flame angels are kind of pushy, so if you really, really want one, add it last and choose one other not-so-timid fish. Personally, I would stick with just the cleaner and a couple of...

    left over food issues

Try a coral banded shrimp. I've heard that it's hit or miss with the valentini puffers and inverts -- but some people have had luck keeping a large CBS with 'em because they're tough.

    angels

My mother keeps a coral beauty in a 30g. She's had it for quite awhile and it looks/acts healthy.
